At Alex Sushi Stavanger you find our headchef, the Nobu star Øyvind Næsheim in control of the show. Alex Sushi’s well-established sushi menu now includes several of Øyvind Næsheim’s modern Japanese signature dishes throughout the ages. The result of the collaboration is the creative use of Norwegian ingredients combined with a playful approach with Japanese flavors and sauces. Let yourself be tempted by king crab nori tacos, salmon sashimi with yuzu miso and “kakiage” with dancing bonito.

In April of 2014, after several years of requests from guests, Alex Sushi finally opened a branch in Stavanger. On the upper plateau you find the beautiful sushi bar, where the chefs serve delicacies such as fried seabass skin and salmon sashimi with Alex´ own ponzusaus. We highly recommend the Chefs Choice menu, where the chefs compose a new menu each day - one you will late forget!
On the ground floor, the restaurant even has an own room that is designed for private dinners and larger parties. We recommend starting teh evening treating yourself to a drink in the magnificent entrance bar! Or, if you prefer, book Take Away directly from the restaurant so you can enjoy fresh sushi in the comfort of your own home.
